BackpackerZ Base Camp is the first camping resort at Vanjangi established in 2021. Nestled at the foothills of Vanjangi village, our resort offers a unique blend of comfort and camping experience for all our guests at Vanjangi Hills.
The viewpoint is just 3.5 kms from our resort and the main road to the viewpoint goes just by our resort making it convenient for our guests. BBC is one of the best hotels in Vanjangi. Our resort has a safe and secure ambience amid nature for families, couples & groups for a memorable camping experience.

- Ideal time to start from the resort to experience the view is by 04:00AM from the resort
- It hardly takes 20 mins drive to the parking area on the hill
- From the parking area the trek to the hilltop is just around 45 mins

- Teegalavalasa Waterfalls, also known as Gudguda Waterfall, is located at a distance of 17 kms from Paderu or Vanjangi
- One can reach the waterfalls area in a 4 wheeler or 2 wheeler and park near a bridge
- However, to reach this beauty spot one has to trek upstream for 30 mins
- No shops or hotels nearby . So please carry food & water

- These caves are only known to the local villagers (Yeguva Sampala) residing behind the Vanjangi Hills
- The trekking is highly steep & takes about 3 hrs. to reach the caves
- The inside part of the cave was collapsed making it difficult to explore deep inside the cave but overall , it was a good adventure
- Do carry protein food & lots of water for this adventure

- There are lot of tourist place nearby Araku Valley and this is the first hill station in Andhra Pradesh developed for tourism
- My schooling was in Araku Valley & we explored this area to the core. My favorite destination is "Borra Caves" and there is a lot to explore more in this area

- If you happen to visit the AP -Orissa border area " Machkund", don't miss to visit one of the indigenous tribes in India with a very distinctive culture . Though it is said that these are settlers from other part of the world, their traditions are something unique to experience.
